Handling Smoke Damage in Electronics

When it comes to handling smoke damage in electronics, the first thing you need to do is unplug all of the affected devices and remove any batteries. Once you have done that, you need to clean the affected areas with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter. If you don’t have a HEPA filter, you can use a damp cloth to wipe down the affected areas.

Once you have cleaned the affected areas, you need to dry them off completely. You can do this by using a hair dryer on the low setting or by using a clean, dry cloth. Once the area is dry, you need to use a clean, dry cloth to apply a white vinegar solution to the affected area.

After you have applied the white vinegar solution, you need to let it sit for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, you need to use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off the vinegar solution.
